Question?
How we can hide the bulk number of disabled users mailboxes from Exchange Address List, via Exchange Management Shell CMD-Let, where these disabled Active Directory user accounts are located in a specific Active Directory OU.
Solution:
From an Exchange Management Shell run the below CMD-Let, which will find all the users, from a specific OU path in AD, and will set these mailboxes to be hidden from the Exchange Address List.
| Get-mailbox -ResultSize unlimited -OrganizationalUnit “domain.com/Users/ Disabled Users” | set-mailbox -HiddenFromAddressListsEnabled $True |
