Today morning, while checking my e-mails from the bad, I came across an e-mail with the subject of “FYI: Windows 8 / 2012 RTM” from one of fellow MVP, which literly opened my eyes with joy and excitement, because being an Microsoft Server Admin, this is the day we’ve all been waiting for.

I’m pleased to publish this post, that Microsoft has completed the Windows Server 2012 and Windows 8 code, and now delivering it to their hardware and software vendor / partners.

And the tentative timing for the general availability of the RTM version of these products are here:

Windows Server 2012: On September 4, that’s when Windows Server 2012 will be generally available for evaluation and purchase by all customers around the world. Read more…
