Microsoft Exchange Transport Agent provides out-of-the-box functionalities to mold the transition of the messaging traffic, as per the need of an organization, but sometimes there are few functionalities, which Exchange transport agent does not provide, and at this time we look forward to take advantage of using the third-party products, which makes possible to satisfy your requirements, by using the native Exchange APIs / transport extensions.

Recently, I came across a similar product (janusGATE Exchange), which provides out-of-the-box advance functionality of Exchange transport server. It is available for Exchange 2007 and 2010.

    They are best, and famous also for Exchange Transport APIs management. Let me see if there are other good products out there, I will keep you posted here.
