Virtualizing Exchange Server 2010 with Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper V

If you are planning to virtualize your Exchange 2010, see the below document, it outlines all the best practices provided by Microsoft for virtualizing Exchange 2010:

In addition to above best practices document, I posted an article a while ago regarding Transitioning Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010 over Hyper-V, which has pretty nifty Implementation Flow diagram, which will surely help you to transition your legacy Exchange environment smoothly to Exchange 2010.

Here are some more great news about Virtualizing Exchange 2010:

  1. Hi Zahir,

Thank you for the very useful migration diagram for exch 2007 to 2010. We are going from 2003 to 2010 via virtualisation. Do you have a similar diagram?

  2. It is very much similar for Exchange 2003.

Best of luck for your project.
